About New Pattern Counseling
New Pattern Counseling is an interdisciplinary outpatient counseling clinic specializing in addiction recovery, trauma healing, and relational restoration. We provide wraparound services for individuals, couples, youth, and families impacted by substance use, compulsive behaviors, betrayal trauma, and attachment distress.
Our clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapies with recovery principles, drawing from modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, and contemporary neuroscience. We are committed to cultivating long-term sobriety, healthy relationships, and meaningful spiritual and personal growth.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually (full-time equivalent)

Position Overview
New Pattern Counseling is seeking licensed or pre-licensed clinicians to join our collaborative treatment team. Clinicians will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, supporting clients ages 12–65.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing recovery-focused community while developing clinical expertise in addiction treatment, trauma therapy, and relational healing.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of 12–18 weekly clients (part-time) or 19–30 weekly clients (full-time)
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group counseling
- Conduct intakes, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Monitor treatment progress and collaborate with clients on treatment goals
- Coordinate care with relevant community providers when appropriate
- Participate in team consultation and staff meetings
- Contribute periodically to practice outreach or educational resources
- Develop specialty groups or program offerings in collaboration with supervisors
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Licensed or pre-licensed LPC, LMFT, or related credential
- CADC, CSAT, CPTT, or related certification (or in process)
- Completed or currently enrolled in a Master’s program in counseling, psychology, or social work
Candidates should demonstrate interest in pursuing specialized training, such as:
- Chemical dependency treatment
- Process addictions (including compulsive sexual behavior)
- Partner betrayal trauma
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Trauma-focused and body-based therapies
- Couples or family systems work
Professional Development
New Pattern Counseling strongly supports clinician development. Training toward credentials such as CSAT, CPTT, IFS, EFT, or related specialties is encouraged, with training costs covered by the practice.
