NEW PATTERN COUNSELING - PORTLAND, OREGON

As a therapist, I believe in the power of genuine support and connection as the primary driver of change. Many of us come to a place in life where we can feel stuck, isolated, confused, or just generally unsure of how to proceed. In my work with clients, I am honored to listen to clients’ stories and journey with them as we make sense of the past, handle challenges in the present, and create a hopeful outlook for the future.
I earned my bachelor’s in psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2021, and graduated with my MA in Counseling from Western Seminary in 2025. My approach to counseling draws heavily from Humanistic/Existential Therapy. Simply put, this means that it is my goal to help you grapple with themes having to do with your life as an individual and how you interact with the world. This can look like confronting themes of loneliness or anxiety, exploring how to make life meaningful, and helping you access your agency to act in purposeful ways in your life. I also employ techniques rooted in Internal Family Systems and Emotion Focused Therapy as helpful tools to facilitate self-understanding and compassion.
I enjoy working with young adults, teenagers, and those working through life transitions. I have an interest in helping people identify patterns in their lives that serve as hindrances and working with them to create a fulfilling life. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients and presenting concerns, from anxiety to trauma to relationship dynamics. Whatever you bring into session, I feel privileged to come alongside you with support, empathy, and compassion.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures and spending time with my husband. I grew up in a Californian beach town, so I will use any excuse to get to the coast. I love listening to music, going to concerts, and watercolor painting.
